Came across a group of these lillies while horseback ridding. The lillies where located over a bank next to a small stream. After the ride, I went back with my camera and dog. It was a short walk to where the lillies where located. Once I got down over the bank and snapped this one shot, I quickly discovered I had upset a yellow jacket's ground nest! Luckily I escaped with no stings. However my poor dog received 3 stings on her nose.
