This a a picture of The Great Lawn in the Elizabethan Gardens located in Manteo, NC. The garden is dedicated to the memory of the English colonists who came to this very location to live. But as history tells us, the colonists disappeared without a trace. Today we know these colonists as The Lost Colony.
